Planning is a schedule for the teaching. There are different planning areas which are long range plan, medium range plan and lesson plan. Starting with the long range plan, it is the plan for the whole year or the semester.  This includes all the units and the subject students will have. Another area is medium range plan and this means the plan for each unit or chapter. Unit plans may include more details and it can be more specific about each lesson will be taught. Last point is lesson plan which teachers used daily for each lesson they will be teaching in future.

During my teaching practice, I used only to work on lesson plans. Lesson plans is important for all teachers to plan up what exactly they will be teaching and how they will be teaching. Moreover, it helps to achieve the goals for each class and be prepared for the lesson. When I did my lesson plans, I felt more confidence because I know what exactly I’m going to teach as well as it helped me to have an effective lesson. It can be seen when I had my lesson plan every day before I teach, students will learn better instead of not having effective plan for the lesson.
